A. Absolutely. All I need is some basic information in order to choose products for her. Hair type and color, eye color, skin color (light/fair, medium/olive, tan/deep) and skin type if you know it (normal, oily, dry or combination/t-zone).
Q. I know I need products but I have no idea where to begin. Help!
A. That's what I'm here for...;-) I can walk you through the basics via e-mail, telephone or online chat as well as offer video tutorials to help you with visuals. In addition to that, once you have received your package I can assist you with any questions you may have.
Q. I'd like to purchase a package for a teenager. Can you choose age-appropriate items?
A. Of course. As a mother myself, I understand how to open the world of beauty and cosmetics for a young lady while keeping the choices conservative and natural.
Q. I'd like a package for myself (age 35) as well as one for my mother (age 67). Will we be getting the same types of items?
A. Products will vary to suit coloring, skin type, age and style. What may work for you may not work for your mother and vice versa. It is possible there may be one or two items that are the same but I prefer to include a variety of products.
Q. Can I keep you "on-call"?
A. Yes, you can. :-) I offer a one-year service for $60 which includes a product package (est. $40-50 value) as well as unlimited e-mails for questions/concerns you may have all.year.long! This option is great as the skin/hair and your coloring may change each season. What works with a summer tan and carefree hairstyle may not work with pale/dry skin and a more polished holiday look.
Q. I see your focus is makeup and skin care but can you recommend something for my hair?
A. Yes. I have several years of experience working in salons with hairstylists as well as personal experience with a variety of hair care lines. I also have access to a variety of popular salon brands.
Q. What happens if I don't like a product/color your chose for me?
A. It is important to me that you enjoy your products however if an item is unsatisfactory for any reason, I will gladly exchange a product for you if shipping and return is provided along with the product. If a product is lightly used and you would rather donate it rather than exchange, we will gladly accept it for our Makeup Ministry program.
Q. I have quite a lot of old makeup and samples I don't use. Can you use them for the Makeup Ministry?
A. Yes! We will gladly accept any unused makeup and samples that you have as well as any lightly used eyeshadows, blushes, eyeliners, lip liners and lipsticks. Items will be thoroughtly inspected, sanitized and prepared for our Makeup Ministry kits. Any items that do not fit criteria will be discarded upon inspection.
Q. I have some cosmetic/gift bags that I don't need anymore. Can you use them?
A. Yes! We can use them to assemble kits for our Makeup Ministry.
Q. Can I tell you what I need and then have you choose the specific brand? I know what I like but I don't know where to begin looking.
A. Yes, absolutely. Let's say you need a volumizing mascara, an eyebrow filler, an everyday blush and lipstick and you want to spend $30 (shipping is always included in the price). I will include every item you've requested and choose the best products to fit your budget.
